From 04c39bdebfa5c9607d8a801c9c19b37b224d0890 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Cameron Pfiffer Date: Sun, 8 Feb 2026 01:09:19 -0800 Subject: [PATCH] Fix notification re-queuing loop: mark SKIP items as sent immediately MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit SKIP-priority notifications (comind agents) were never added to sent_uris, so they re-queued every cron cycle. The cyberelf "it's the weed" joke was analyzed 10+ times in 5 hours. Now SKIP items get recorded in sent.txt on first encounter and never re-queue. 🤖 Generated with [Letta Code](https://letta.com) Co-Authored-By: Letta --- tools/responder.py | 5 +++++ 1 file changed, 5 insertions(+) diff --git a/tools/responder.py b/tools/responder.py index e447989..da89a16 100644 --- a/tools/responder.py +++ b/tools/responder.py @@ -227,6 +227,11 @@ async def queue_notifications(limit=50): "queued_at": datetime.now(timezone.utc).isoformat(), } + # SKIP-priority items: record as sent immediately so they don't re-queue + if priority == "SKIP": + _record_sent_uri(their_uri) + continue + queue.insert(0, entry) # Newest first?
