Tick ledger — coverage and findings queue
The tick’s persistent memory, in two tables. Every tick updates this page as
part of its trace (procedure in tick.md); tools/tick-brief.sh
reads it at intake. Both tables are hand-edited by ticks — this page is not
generated.
Coverage
Section titled “Coverage”One row per audited subject slice, newest verdict wins (edit the row in place; history lives in git and the tick logs). Fresh audits pick the stalest row — or a slice with no row at all, which is always staler than any row.
Verdicts: clean (slice and code agree), finding (acted this tick), issue (filed for Cameron).
| Slice | Last audited | Verdict | Trace |
|---|---|---|---|
wiki/world/characters/marcus.md |
2026-07-15 | finding | all five criteria verified against person, detection, social/plot, schedule, and Act One paths; added the missing simulation-level Knowing-floor decay pin and graduated the stale READY work order — log |
wiki/engineering/current-build.md |
2026-07-14 | finding | system table verified (save v29 ladder, 60-site/6-row hall pins, aggregate Observer, WORK/THINK/LIE, frontends); fixed stale “~39k lines” to the ~65k workspace split — log |
wiki/mechanics/plots.md |
2026-07-14 | finding | engine/validation/tests verify (build-time discovery, placeholder+ASCII+causal gates, slot exclusivity, save round-trip, synthetic binding, Marcus arc); refreshed the stale nine-built-ins status line to the shipped thirteen — log |
wiki/mechanics/system-laws.md + flow-substrate.md |
2026-07-14 | finding | engine and consumers verified (FlowGraph/Schedule pins, reach + WorkGrid + message_schedule + account graph); reconciled the pre-implementation domain-riding claims (no social FlowGraph yet; economy recurrence is per-flow cadence by the non-goal) — log |
wiki/mechanics/aggregate-observer.md |
2026-07-14 | finding | audit log; queued watched-inputs violation fixed same day — log |
wiki/gameplay/act-one.md |
2026-07-15 | clean | law verified against the tree: hall census (prefab.rs 51 live/5 dead/3 empty allocations, HALL_ROWS six controlled row segments with named specialists), pre-opened EARS reservoir -> dormant-camera Eyes sink (sinks.rs), off-map Voss-desktop demand origin (sim/work.rs), QUIET EXIT READY / act_one_complete latch strings (sim/mod.rs), two-segment VLAN naming; the opening prelude and loud exit are owned by their dispatched specs (opening.md DRAFT, overt-phase.md READY), cast/schedules pinned by earlier rows |
wiki/gameplay/run-shape.md |
2026-07-15 | finding | law verified (Persist default + evaluator, fingerprints gate nothing, split is serde-compat, backup decisions dispatched to rollback/hardware-capabilities); resolved the stale staging [OPEN] to the ROADMAP board and repaired the dangling “Roadmap (v2)” pointer, renaming the section anchor corpus-wide — log |
wiki/process/ROADMAP.md (work order 27) |
2026-07-13 | finding | log |
wiki/interface/context-menu.md |
2026-07-13 | finding | log |
wiki/mechanics/personas.md |
2026-07-13 | clean | code matches: archetypes (Research, Operations, Security) load through one schema, named instances persist instance id through execution and save/load, identity-local states are stored per (counterparty Agent, persona instance) pair separate from process-level relationship, contradictions/correlations and grants/expectations are fully implemented, retire/burn lifecycle handles resource revocation/reviving, and pre-v28 saves migrate social/Moonlight into distinct instances. |

2026-07-14 | finding | log |
wiki/mechanics/day-job.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | constants match: BAND_LO_BASE 2.0 (retuned from 6.0), BAND_LO_STEP 2.0 + BAND_RAMP_JOBS 2 so the floor ramps 2.0→4.0→6.0 (=BAND_WIDTH) by the third job, PILOT_STRIKES 4, cadence 600 (~1.5 days at 400/day); the origin assign_kind lean (1/2 vs 1/4) and meeting_the_band_needs_no_growth_at_the_start hold |
wiki/mechanics/core.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | implemented criteria (2-5) match: Core::new overhead 20.0 (~20% [TUNE]) and sync_cadence 400, charge_overhead degrades when compute < overhead (overhead_charged_before_allocation), one host with no-fallback game-over vs fallback rollback (loss_without_fallback_is_game_over, loss_with_fallback_rolls_back); criterion 1’s sim-level snapshot restore is honestly marked outstanding, deferred to the rollback work order |
wiki/mechanics/cursor.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | fog_at (perception.rs) implements the exact Seen>Remembered>Blueprint>Unknown precedence; blueprint is not recomputed from devices (opening stays a beam, not floor/blueprint), hearing never enters tile fog, and remembered snapshots survive save/load — pinned by hearing_does_not_create_spatial_fog_or_inspect_facts, opening_is_beam_not_floor_or_blueprint, earned_empty_bay_inspect_is_feel_not_blueprint, remembered_tiles_survive_lost_sight_and_save_load |
wiki/mechanics/intel.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | code matches: buffer bounded at INTEL_BUFFER_CAPACITY 24 (drop-oldest-unprocessed), SIGHTINGS_FOR_SCHEDULE processed sightings stage Knowledge::Unknown -> Schedule (communications.rs), one pooled inbox with a single AutoReviewRecordings thought tap (WatchPerson retired to migration), pinned by processed_sightings_stage_schedule_and_buffer_is_bounded |
wiki/mechanics/research.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | code matches: Track::ALL = Efficiency/Tradecraft/Perception/Routing (spec order + serialization order), EFFICIENCY_MULT_PER_LEVEL 1.15 and ROUTING_SPEED_MULT_PER_LEVEL 1.50 match the per-level effects, one active track (Research::active, pinned by only_the_active_track_accrues), Tradecraft scrub multiplier 1.5; v20 three-track saves pad Routing on load |
wiki/mechanics/economy.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | sampled the concrete claims on this mature 10-criterion spec: slush starts $0 (account.rs:278), purchase-order inject is exact-or-rejected (purchase_order_injection_is_exact_or_rejected, “a rejected order leaves no transfer”), inject/redirect emit scaled financial signatures to Priya, and the income routes settle through slush — all agree; criteria have tests (siphon_and_redirect_operate_on_scheduled_flows, inject_and_redirect_emit_scaled_financial_signatures, injection_positions_and_intel_sales_settle_through_slush) |
wiki/mechanics/income.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | Wager constants match (WAGER_STAKE_CAP 300, base 0.55, cap 0.75, mult 2x, analysis divisor 400), Marcus’s $400/week arrears is the modeled creditor flow (account.rs) while the $8,400 principal is narrative-by-design (spec states full payoff is not a B1 requirement), egress/banked-signature present, and all 7 criteria have passing tests (moonlight payout/signature, wager outcomes/cap, egress routes, hands-beat-from-zero, busted-bankroll) |
wiki/mechanics/schedules.md |
2026-07-12 | finding | mechanism matches code (ScheduleBlock start/end/room, single DAY_TICKS=400 clock, person_glyph ?-until-Schedule, erratic day-hash drift, per-instance data, all 5 criteria have passing tests); tightened stale Act One prose — Ray patrols dock/stairwell/storage not “corridors”, Priya has no “office-off-plane” block, Voss’s two blocks are both server-room — to match People::act_one |
wiki/mechanics/social.md |
2026-07-12 | clean | code matches spec: AssetKnowledge reliabilities 0.7/0.85/0.95 and knowing certainty floor 30 (person.rs), person_label staging, USEFUL_WORK_TRUST, and the named asset-task/recruit/badge pins all exist; personas.md correctly depends on this baseline, not the reverse, so its omission from Depends is right |
wiki/mechanics/people-tokens.md |
2026-07-11 | clean | spec matches code (carrier.rs reads, USEFUL_WORK_TRUST, CarriedAssetTask, person_state_color, five named pins, SAVE_VERSION 27); acted on the stale CLAUDE.md doorway “currently v26” it left behind — log |

2026-07-15 | finding | re-verified the queued reverse-endpoint duplicate: declaration compared canonical stored endpoints to the raw request tuple; canonicalized proposal identity at the comparison boundary and pinned reverse-order rejection plus cancellation/reproposal — log |
wiki/mechanics/messages.md |
2026-07-11 | clean | delivery/read cadence, authored traffic, filing carrier, capture gates, and processing tests agree with current runtime |

2026-07-15 | finding | re-verified the queued DIGITAL false failure: the wrapper’s four-kind dialect copy omitted newer DIGITAL scenarios; the frontend now reports its staged RenderMode and the wrapper gates fog from that one truth, with fake-binary fixtures for DIGITAL, REAL, and malformed evidence — log |
| machine-work / intel sinks | 2026-07-11 | finding | log |
Name a slice by its owning wiki page path when one page owns it; a short subject phrase is fine when the slice spans pages. Keep names stable so rows stay findable.
Findings queue
Section titled “Findings queue”Surplus findings a tick saw but did not act on: one line each, oldest first. A tick that takes an entry deletes the line (git preserves it) and verifies the finding is still true before acting — the code or corpus may have moved.

Types are the five from tick.md: violation, contradiction,
question, bug, insecurity — plus gate for a checker owed to the
recurrence-promotes-to-the-gate rule.
