pop/loner goes from bedroom ballad to the dance floor, and the lane crosses to C: v4 is the regulation — @jeffrey's afternoon of listening notes ('i want the lyrics starting right away' · 'some words directly seem to just cut off' · 'i wish our musical notes were the same as her voice' · 'give her a backup vocal to match the words' · 'that world snapping for camille / that regulation' · 'keep a pretty strict beat that the lyrics can now regulate around, sidechained into the lyrics' · 'i wish the vocal take was unbroken' · 'i want a constant rate of utterance') carved into bin/halo3.py + c/lonerremix.c. The Python side owns everything WORLD: snap 0.92 on her f0, the UNBROKEN Feral take (all 19 words, one warp, no seams) time-bent onto a 122 BPM chart DERIVED from her own rhythm — one uniform scale per phrase, per-word stretch overrides (sitting/curled-up ×1.3–1.45), every word quantized to a whole number of 8ths, and vowel-on-the-beat alignment (the voiced onset lands on the slot, consonants run 1:1 ahead of it, the way a singer leans in) — plus synthesized WORLD releases wherever the source has no tail (she never stops singing in the take, so every phrase-final word used to hard-stop), octave halos, and full-word low-3rd/5th self-backup, all rendered from the same frame map so every layer locks. It emits c/loner-chart.h — per word, its beat slot and measured semitone — and the C engine (the lane's first C-native score, fleet single-file convention, renders 2:35 in 1.3 s) plays ONLY chart notes: the pluck doubles her, four-on-the-floor kicks sidechain into the lyrics (vox 0.34, bed 0.52, drums never duck), v3's dub delay and Schroeder pair ported intact. MINIMAL=1 renders the kick+vocals study (out/loner-kickvox) the alignment is being tuned against. The lane itself (v1 ballad → v2 aesthetivox → v3 angelic dnb toolchain, README, manifests, corpus receipts) lands in git for the first time — it had lived only on neo, which went dark mid-session; the engines came over by rsync and the finals by juke-sync, and from now on git carries the scores so no cut can be stranded on one machine again. Media stays out per the lane .gitignore (source/samples/vox banks rebuild from bin/, mp3s ride juke-sync).
