Subject: [PATCH] chat: link cards load for the newest message, extensionless
 images, sized favicons

Three raster bugs behind laklok's missing link cards:
- A card's space is only reserved once it loads, so the newest message's
  card sat below the fold and was never fetched until someone posted after
  it. Off-screen-below cards now load anyway.
- preload() guessed the type from the URL's last dot, so proxied images
  without one (archive.org, WeTransfer) and .ico favicons never loaded.
  Proxied thumbnails now name their type.
- Favicons were pasted at natural size, so Reddit's 192px mark covered the
  room. They now fit their 32px box.
