Two modes:
--mode note (default, "Melodyne-style"): segment the take into NOTES (pitch-stable voiced runs), correct each note's CENTRE to the nearest scale degree, and let the singer's intra-note movement (vibrato / scoop / drift) ride on top, scaled by --preserve. Sounds musically tuned, not robot-tuned.
--mode frame ("hard"): snap every voiced frame to the scale. The old aggressive autotune.
Spectral envelope (cheaptrick) + aperiodicity (d4c) are untouched, sovoice identity, words and breath are preserved — only f0 changes.
Usage: autotune.py <in.wav> <out.wav> [--key A] [--scale minorpent] [--mode note|frame] [--strength 0.9] [--preserve 0.6] [--shift 0] [--glide-ms 35]"""import argparseimport numpy as npimport soundfile as sfimport pyworld as pw
